Lori McCleese brings more than 25 years of experience across nonprofit and business environments — and a credential combination that is genuinely rare in this market. She has served as president of a community foundation and president of a youth development organization, giving her firsthand experience with the full complexity of nonprofit leadership: governance, donor relationships, board dynamics, staff development, and the hard work of building sustainable revenue without a large team or institutional brand behind her.

Beyond her executive roles, Lori has served on numerous boards and committees — including as a board chair — and served on the AFP ICON Education Review Committee in 2025, helping shape content for the largest fundraising conference in the world.

Her background also spans the for-profit world — global supply chain management and banking leadership, where she coached teams and managed eight-figure budgets. That combination of nonprofit executive experience and business discipline is what allows LMC to address not just fundraising challenges, but the operational and structural ones that often sit beneath them.
