Our Approach
Clear, transparent, and built for real-world challenges.
Is LMC Right for Your Organization?
LMC specializes in small and mid-sized nonprofits — organizations that are doing important work and ready to build the infrastructure to sustain it.
If any of these sound familiar, let's talk
LMC is not the right fit for every organization — and that's okay. The clients who get the most out of working with LMC are who are ready to engage, roll up their sleeves, and build something that lasts.
-
Your fundraising is reactive — you're making asks when money gets tight instead of working a year-round plan.
-
You have donors but no real system to cultivate, segment, or retain them.
-
Your organization has grown but your operations, policies, and processes haven't kept pace.
-
You're navigating a leadership transition and need steady, experienced support.
-
Your board wants to help with fundraising but doesn't know how.
-
You know something needs to change— but you're not sure where to start.
STEP ONE
Initial Consultation
Every engagement starts with a conversation — no pitch, no pressure. We meet virtually or on-site, whichever works best for you. This is a chance for us to listen, ask good questions, and understand where your organization is and what you're trying to build. If LMC is the right fit, we'll both know it.
STEP TWO
Written
Proposal
Within five business days of our consultation, LMC delivers a written proposal outlining the recommended scope of work, deliverables, timeline, and investment. Clear and specific — no vague language, no moving targets.
STEP THREE
Refine &
Finalize
The proposal is a starting point, not a take-it-or-leave-it document. We work with you to refine the scope until it reflects exactly what your organization needs. Once aligned, a final proposal and contract are delivered for signature.
STEP FOUR
Work
Begins
Once the contract is signed, work commences within 14 days. No long waits, no delays. We move when you're ready.
The Process
"The goal of every engagement is an organization that doesn't need us anymore — because the strategy, the systems, and the leadership are all in place."
- Lori McCleese
Three Engagement Models.
One Commitment to Transparency.
All LMC pricing is flat-fee or retainer-based pricing. You always know the full investment before work begins. We work in three ways depending on the nature and scope of your needs.
Project Based Pricing
Best for short-term, defined engagements.
A specific scope, a specific deliverable, a flat fee. You know exactly what you're getting and exactly what it costs. Ideal for assessments, strategic plans, training sessions, and other time-bound work.
